Growing up in a musical family, my parents played everything from African music, to classic rock, to gospel. My exposure to different genres directly influenced what I like to listen to, and the role that music plays in my life.

 

Other facts about me include that I started playing piano and reading music at age six, and pretty much played my way through adolescence. I studied Biology and Music as an undergraduate, and was a part several choral groups ranging from a gospel choir to an a cappella group! It's been a few years since I graduated, and I've since moved on to learning the guitar, and seeing what's in store for Mellowdy Blog.
